When is Easter 2007?

Easter 2007 will take place on April the 8th, and in order to understand more about Easter 2007 and Easter in general, we must take a look at the history of the holiday, so that we can come to a more informed and more knowledgeable understanding on the issue overall. In the olden times, Christian monks were very good at explaining their religion to those who had not heard of God or Jesus Christ before, and they almost always took symbols of significance of the people that they were teaching, and they then used those symbols to teach about God.

Easter traditions differ across the world, and for instance, the ancient Saxons celebrated the return of spring with an uproarious festival commemorating their goddess of offspring and of springtime, Easter. When the second-century Christian missionaries encountered the tribes of the north with their pagan celebrations, they attempted to convert them to Christianity; they did so however, in a clandestine manner.

In the year of 2007, there is going to be an Easter egg roll and celebration on the lawn of the White House, and children are able to come on the Monday after Easter and roll eggs down the lawn; this is a celebration which has been going on since 1994, and the children really love it. It is fun, and they get to stand and run around on the lawn of the White House, which is obviously incredibly awing, especially for children.

Games for Easter

If your children are not able to do this, then know that there are many other options that you have in order to make their Easter holiday fun and enjoyable. For instance, you can decorate Easter eggs together, or make Easter egg baskets, and you can even sit down as a family and come up with fun and unique ideas for games that you can play.

There are so many different things that you can do, and just remember that the most important thing is to have fun, and so make sure that you are enjoying yourselves as a family and that you are having fun on your Easter holiday.
